You may remember reading about the magical spaces Wallgarden create for children in one of our customer spotlights last year. We always like to keep in touch with our customers to find out what’s new for them, especially when it involves a touch of Littlefair’s. So we were happy to catch up with Nadine Charlton, Director and Founder of Wallgarden, about a very special project they are working on this year.
After a successful collaboration in 2017, Wallgarden are teaming up with multi-award winning designer, RHS Chelsea Flower Show gold medallist and landscape architect, Sarah Eberle again for 2018.
This year’s design will reflect the beautiful architecture of Chelsea’s landscape and will see a bespoke playhouse sitting amongst a bountiful garden designed by Sarah Eberle. Wallgarden and Sarah’s design will marry together a scene of historic riverside idyll and a present-day extension of thriving modern London. It will be a fantastic way to demonstrate what can be achieved with a small amount of outdoor space, something which comes as a premium in the area, and will also showcase one of Wallgarden’s playhouses in a city environment for town houses.
Nadine Charlton, Director and Founder of Wallgarden said: ‘Wallgarden’s work with Sarah combines our great passions and shared belief that gardens should be relevant, beautiful and useable places, which create a lifelong interest for all the family. Our intention is to encourage children to grow their own flowers, fruit, vegetables and herbs; and to help teach them about where their food comes from whether they live in town or country. The RHS Chelsea Flower Show showcases the very best of what can be achieved.’
If you’re interested in checking out the small-scale townhouse and garden it can be found on the Wallgarden stand at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show between 22nd – 26th May 2018.The design team will be available for bespoke designs and orders throughout, and the townhouse is for sale with delivery after the event.
The town house will contain a beautiful oak panelled interior and Nadine will once again be using our products. We can’t wait to see the finished article and will be sharing more photos in due course!
